Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking an On-call Group Life Counselor for the Visions Youth Treatment Center in Bellingham, WA. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to provide direct services to high-risk adolescent females dealing with substance use disorder.

The role includes support for chemical dependency professionals, monitoring clients, and ensuring their physical needs are met while maintaining a safe environment. Candidates should have an AA in Psychology or related field and experience in high-risk patient care, with BA preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience working with high-risk or in treatment patient care.
• BA in related field preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chemical Dependency Professional/Trainee in services.
• Monitor clients and log all activities.
• Provide physical care to meet patient needs.
• Complete logging and reports accurately.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Organization

Bilingual in English/Spanish

Proficiency in MS Office products

Education

AA in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services or related field
