Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Addiction Medicine.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or another applicable specialty.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.
• Commitment to evidence-based addiction treatment and recovery services.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultations, assessments, and treatment recommendations for hospitalized patients with substance use disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Contribute to quality improvement, program development, and clinical education initiatives.
• Teach and mentor residents, medical students, and other healthcare trainees.
