Job summary

Mayo Clinic Hospital Internal Medicine in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality hospital-based care in a dynamic, 12-hour shift setting. The HIM team collaborates with physicians to assess, diagnose and treat diverse inpatient populations with Hematology/Oncology focus.

New grads are not considered; 1–3 years inpatient experience preferred. ACNPs require ACNP/ AZ licensure; PAs require NCCPA certification and AZ PA registration.

Qualifications

• One to three years inpatient clinical experience required.
• New grads will NOT be considered.
• ACNPs must have Master’s, AZ RN and APRN license.
• Physician Assistants must have NCCPA certification and AZ PA license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and NPs/PAs to provide hospital-based care in HIM.
• Perform admissions, daily hospital visits, discharges and consultations.
• Work 12-hour shifts including day, swing, weekends and holidays.
