Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support quality control and product testing in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves wet lab work, sample prep, and operating routine analytical instruments in a GMP/GLP environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of lab experience, strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year related lab or quality control experience.
• Wet lab experience and ability to learn new techniques.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs routine sample preparation and analyses in support of product assessment and quality control on products utilizing one or more analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, ICP, mass spectrometry, smoking machines, or other special purpose equipment and/or multiple wet chemistry and physical techniques.)
• Performs preparation of samples for testing by weighing, for example
• Performs sample preparation on tobacco products using wet chemistry techniques; provides support to analytical chemists
• Operates simple lab equipment
• Accurately documents results in notebooks and laboratory LIMS, in compliance with good documentation practices
• Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errors
• Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements
• Communicates effectively with client staff members and co-workers
