Job summary

Woodward Tahoe is seeking an Innovative Environments Assistant Manager to lead the design, build, and maintenance of action-sports environments across snow, dirt, and skate surfaces. You will partner with Woodward design and build teams to create engaging guest experiences and ensure safety and quality.

This full-time, year-round role offers growth opportunities, paid time off, 401k, health benefits, and an annual bonus; starting pay is $26 per hour, plus resort access and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Advanced skiing or snowboarding skills required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to ski/ride with tools or equipment.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to supervise night shifts (swing/graveyard).
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Woodward design and build teams to create innovative riding surfaces.
• Oversee snowmaking and grooming tasks.
• Lead fabrication and maintenance of park features (metal, wood, snow).
• Ensure riding areas meet Woodward Tahoe quality standards for guests.
• Administer day-to-day department operations and staffing for winter and summer seasons.
• Drive innovative, competent operations aligned with Woodward Tahoe's vision.
• Assist budgeting for the department, including capital projects.
