Job summary

Yorkville CUSD 115 seeks a Physical Education teacher to support 4th through 6th grade students at Yorkville Intermediate School for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will implement district-approved curriculum, foster a safe learning environment, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff and families to promote physical and emotional growth.

A current Professional Educator License with K-9 endorsement and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field

Qualifications

• Requires PEL with K-9 endorsements.
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school elementary curriculum aligned to district goals.
• Promotes a safe virtual classroom environment and small group instruction.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Conducts ongoing assessment and adjusts instructional methods to meet student needs.
• Communicates with students, parents, and administration.
• Maintains accurate records of student activities, grades, and attendance.
• Coordinates with staff and participates in meetings.
