Job summary

Oula Health in New York seeks a licensed midwife to join a patient-centric maternity care team delivering care before, during, and after pregnancy. You will provide full-scope perinatal care at NY clinics and via telemedicine, collaborating closely with obstetricians, nurses, and coordinators to ensure a holistic, personalized patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold LM licensure in New York and AMCB certification as CNM or CM.
• Experience caring for diverse communities with varied needs.
• Strong reputation for exceptional patient care and positive reviews.
• Experience with telemedicine or virtual care.
• Bonus skills such as multilingual communication or birth equity work are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides full-scope midwifery care during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum across settings (in-person NY clinics and virtual care).
• Collaborates with obstetricians, nurses, MAs, doulas, coordinators, therapists, and others to provide whole-person care.
• Educates patients about the midwifery model of care and promotes patient engagement using Oula’s portal and technology.
• Works with product & engineering teams to provide feedback on the patient portal to improve personalization and inclusivity.
