BASIS is seeking a Middle School Math Teacher in the West Phoenix Metro Area. The Math Teacher will ensure exceptional education by implementing the BASIS Curriculum and facilitating engaging lesson plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with another degree.
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject-specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction at a higher level than grade-standard.
• Implement the BASIS Curriculum with effective lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and subject material.
• Tutor students in content-specific knowledge.
• Manage student behavior to foster academic achievement.
• Support execution of non-instructional functions.
