Job summary

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Central Office is seeking a Middle School Teacher for grades 6–8 to create an academically rigorous and emotionally supportive classroom.

The teacher will develop engaging lessons aligned with Nevada Academic Content Standards, differentiate instruction for diverse learners (IEPs/504s and English learners), use assessments to inform instruction, integrate technology and real-world connections, and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement standards-based lesson plans in assigned subject area(s).
• Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that promotes academic success and student responsibility.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate a variety of learning styles and needs, including students with IEPs/504s and English learners.
• Use assessments and progress monitoring data to inform instruction and provide targeted support.
• Incorporate technology and real-world connections into lessons to enhance student engagement.
• Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to promote interdisciplinary learning and student achievement.
• Communicate regularly and proactively with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed.
• Uphold and model CASLV’s mission, values, and academic standards.
