Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid NC Teaching certification or eligible for NC Teaching certification in assigned area.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of assigned students.
• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Diagnose learning challenges and maintain records for IEPs and 504 Plans.
• Maintain classroom environment and promote student engagement.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and collaborate with staff to support student progress.
