Elon University School of Law invites applications from faculty candidates with law teaching experience to join the full-time faculty at our Charlotte campus, which will welcome its first full-time class in August 2027. The positions will start in summer 2027.

The successful candidates will blend rigorous classroom instruction with experiential learning, pursue forward-looking scholarship, and contribute to mentoring, service, and program development for Elon Law's Charlotte program.

Qualifications

• J.D. required; 3-5 years faculty experience
• Strong record of teaching and scholarly excellence
• Substantive practice experience and admission with good standing to practice

Responsibilities

• Teach first-year courses at the Charlotte campus
• Contribute to the growth and development of Elon Law's Charlotte program
• Engage in scholarship, mentoring, service, and program development
