• Valid Indiana Teaching License with Early Literacy Endorsement, K-6.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that is innovative and inspiring.
• Develop lessons aligned to State Standards with hands-on, quality work.
• Engage with the school community and represent the Success Academy positively.
• Plan and implement outreach activities with the community and area businesses.
• Compile, assess, and maintain scholar data to drive academic goals.
• Observe and evaluate scholars' performance, behavior, and development.
• Instruct scholars individually and in groups using the Science of Reading.
• Set clear objectives for all lessons and communicate them to scholars.
• Provide differentiated instruction with engaging, rigorous pacing.
• Attend professional meetings and conferences to maintain competence.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, social worker, and administration.
• Embrace learning, take risks, and view mistakes as growth opportunities.
