Job summary
UNLV Lee Business School seeks a Lee Assistant/Associate Professor of Insurance & Risk Management to advance scholarship, teaching, and service. The candidate will teach risk management, insurance, and related finance topics at undergraduate and/or graduate levels and contribute to executive education initiatives.
Required is a Ph.D. in Finance or related field with a strong publication record and potential for high-impact research.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Finance (or related field) required before start date.
- Candidate should demonstrate potential for impactful research and high-quality refereed publications.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness at undergrad/grad levels and strong teaching evaluations.
- A record of service contributions to department, school, university, or profession.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in risk management, insurance, and related finance topics.
- Conduct significant research leading to high-quality refereed publications.
- Engage in service activities for the department, school, university, and profession; participate in executive education or certificate programs if applicable.
