Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or Birth-Kindergarten.
• Two years of related work experience; or an Associate’s degree with four years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Adviser/co-Adviser for FCCLA.
• Use assessment strategies aligned with WCPSS curriculum to support learner development.
• Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Pursue continuous professional quality improvement for self and school.
• Apply instructional strategies that reflect diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Integrate technology into teaching and learning while maintaining safe, structured classrooms.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate effective instruction and assessment across learning types.
• Collaborate with peers, parents, community, and stakeholders for continuous improvement.
