• Valid Florida Teaching Certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a valid Florida Teaching Certificate or appropriate certification.
• Adheres to rules and regulations as prescribed by the State Board of Education, Florida Statutes, the school board, and procedures.
• Prepares, maintains, and submits records and reports as required.
• Supports the student learning plan.
• Upholds school rules, procedures and policies.
• Fulfills terms of the written contract unless released by the school board.
• Maintains a safe, orderly classroom conducive to learning for all students.
• Instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Prepares and maintains lesson plans with documentation of preparation.
• Collaborates with students to create a conducive teaching and learning environment.
• Employs diverse instructional techniques and media suited to students’ needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
