Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a qualified professional to manage equipment performance and factory metrics within the Innovation Equipment team. The role requires strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment operation and maintenance, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams with vendors and OEMs.

You will analyze data, develop solutions, and drive actions across Fab Engineering—communicating progress with staff and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• B.S. in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering preferred; other engineering/manufacturing degrees accepted.
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in Semiconductor industry required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Project or Program Manager position with Lean and/or Six Sigma.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills with Spotfire, JMP or similar.
• Programming experience in Python, SQL, HTML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage fab wide equipment engineering improvement projects across cross-functional teams and business units.
• Lead Lean activities including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process mapping, and AIW.
• Analyze equipment gap-to-goal and drive initiatives to meet performance metrics.
• Staff/executive level presentations, proposals and status reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Possess expert understanding of semiconductor equipment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to reduce inefficiencies using data and Lean methodology.
• Partner with equipment analytics and solutions teams to interpret data and develop novel cross-functional solutions.
