Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Inmate Transport Officer in Milwaukee, WI to safeguard clients and support government inmate transportation operations. This role requires vigilance, vehicle operation, and clear communication within a team.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $28.00 per hour. Candidates must be 21+ with a valid driver's license and prior law enforcement, military, or corrections experience or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Job Description

As a Inmate Transport Officer in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a driving Security Professional supporting government inmate transportation operations, you will help maintain a controlled environment through attentive monitoring, vehicle operations, routine inspections, and clear communication. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional service and working closely with a dedicated team.
