Job summary

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an Inmate Records Specialist to join our Support Services team. You will maintain inmate records from booking through release in the Jail Management System, handling court orders, warrants, bonds, and releases with strict confidentiality and accuracy.

You will interact with courts, law enforcement, attorneys, bond agents, inmates, and the public, ensuring compliance with laws and agency procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system, agency orders, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter demographics, booking, and case information into the Jail Management System.
• Process court orders and dockets; conduct warrant/criminal history checks.
• Assist with bonds, releases, and inmate paperwork; maintain accurate records.
• Generate reports and statistics on inmate population.
• Coordinate with courts, law enforcement, and agencies; respond to inquiries.
