Job summary

Qualifications

• Willing to accept training and feedback as needed for compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all team members.
• Able to work any shift and overtime with short notice.
• Must visually identify quality issues.
• Must think outside the box and use data in decisions.
• Frequent bending and stooping; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Wears safety shoes, safety glasses and ear protection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cutting and assist lead operator.
• Familiar with press ink controls and inking process.
• Operate and troubleshoot Cutter, Unwinder, Splicer, Festoon and related controls.
• Perform changeovers per SOPs.
• Assist with roller replacements and adjustments.
• Ensure accurate operator documentation (production reports, logs, checklists).
• Maintain 5S and preserve a safe, clean working environment.
• Comply with safety, quality, productivity, and security procedures.
• Participate in preventative maintenance of area equipment.
