Job summary

FUJIFILM Ink Solutions Group at the New Castle site in Delaware is seeking an Ink/Dye Production Technology Chemist to support manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams with process development and data management for aqueous inks, purified dyes, and conductive inks.

You will lead lab-scale production (<200 L), apply DOE and process verification, coordinate with QA, and guide Production Support Technicians while upholding 5S and EHS standards. This role requires strong chemistry fundamentals and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Good basic knowledge of chemistry as it relates to aqueous ink formulation and evaluation.
• Experience with laboratory information management and quality management systems (SQC).
• Experience with lab/wet lab process development, dye purification, and ink formulation and filtration techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing support for lab prep, in-process batches, and deviation investigations (<200 L).
• Provide technical guidance for new product introduction and routine manufacturing support.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and support customer issues with technical lead time.
• Develop initial process logs and confirm process flow for scale-up and alignment runs.
• Maintain safety, 5S standards, and regulatory compliance within the lab environment.
