Job summary

INX International is seeking a Batch Weigher to support the manufacturing process for high-quality ink. You will weigh batches, follow batch tickets, verify materials, and maintain accurate records in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, and strong math and communication skills. Training will be provided on the job, with opportunities in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent math skills.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical skills (plus).

Responsibilities

• Weighing batches as planned and assigned by the Supervisor using personal protective equipment.
• Follow the batch ticket directions and return batch tickets to the lab for inspection if there is an error.
• Select the proper mixing tub for the batch and ensure it is clean.
• Check raw material inventories to ensure all ingredients are available before weighing; notify supervisor of differences.
• Use the proper scale for weighing the raw materials.
• Record all figures on batch tickets, including lot numbers, and check items off as weighed.
• Sign batch ticket, mark tub with full formula number, and move finished batch to the correct area.
