Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, seeks an Injury Prevention Coordinator in Brewster, NY. You will promote workplace wellness through ergonomic evaluations, movement coaching, stretching programs, and preventive education at multiple client sites.

The role involves traveling to Brewster, Orange (CT), Berkshire (MA), Clifton Park/Mechanicville (NY) and other locations, with a 40-hour workweek Monday–Friday and a $2,000 sign-on/relocation bonus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or related field, or PTA/OTA license.
• 2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Conducts injury prevention programs, education, and training.
• Leads interventions to improve safety in manufacturing environments.
• Assists healthcare teams with job function assessment and incident investigation.
• Collects and evaluates program data to support ROI and reports findings.

Join us as an **Injury Prevention Coordinator in Brewster, NY** and help employees stay healthy through ergonomic evaluations, movement coaching, stretching programs, and workplace wellness initiatives.**Why You'll Love This Opportunity** Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM $2,000 Sign-On/Relocation Bonus Mileage Reimbursement No weekends Focus on injury prevention, ergonomics, and employee wellness**Schedule:** 40 hours per week, **will be required to travel to multiple locations****Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and two Thursdays** per month- Brewster, NY**Every Tuesday**- Orange, CT**Two Thursdays** each month split: One Thursday at Berkshire, MA, and one Thursday at Clifton Park/Mechanicville, NY.In collaboration with client's employee healthcare team, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs focused on the prevention of work-related injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness within the manufacturing environment.Key Accountabilities* Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.* Leads the development and implementation of interventions/programs focused on the manufacturing environment to meet client objectives.* Assists employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.* Collect and evaluate program data to support ROI process, manages and reports data for their assigned plant.* Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.* Other duties as needed/assigned.Minimum Requirements* Associates Degree or higher in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Exercise Science, or a related field, or licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).* 2+ years’ experience in health and fitness.Preferred* Personal Training Certification.* Understanding of Biomechanics.* Understanding of Occupational Safety.* Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing).The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
