Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is hiring for a packaging operator on a 12-hour shift. You will inspect and package inventory, request supplies for Injection Molding lines, and perform color changes and line start-up/shutdown procedures.

The role requires forklift certification within 30 days, the ability to read instructions, and accurate color differentiation. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified or become forklift certified within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Visual aptitude to differentiate colors and discern documents and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package in-process inventory and finished goods.
• Request supplies and boxes to support all Injection Molding lines.
• Perform line walks and refill color and resin as needed.
• Execute complete color changes by following procedures.
• Assist in line start-up, shutdown, and cleanup duties.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices on the floor.
