Job summary

Nemera is seeking an APU Setter in Buffalo Grove, IL to startup, operate, and maintain molding and assembly equipment and to package molded components per specifications. The role requires knowledge of injection molding processes, the ability to troubleshoot, and adherence to Lean and ISO standards.

Key duties include loading cycle parameters, coordinating automated systems, and ensuring product quality at startup. Visual inspections and TPM activities are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience (required).
• Basic math and PC skills are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk most of shift.
• Familiarity with Injection Molding and robotic systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports operator levels 1 and 2.
• Load master cycle parameters into Injection Molding machines at startup.
• Load and align automated and robotic systems.
• Ensure machines run to standard and product quality meets specs at startup.
• Troubleshoot small to mid-size process issues and escalate as needed.
• Perform line clearances and clean molds as per instructions.
• Complete TPM and routine maintenance tasks.
