Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 5–7 years’ experience in plastic processing of molding machines with injection molding experience.
• 2+ years of Injection Molding experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with scientific molding (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Experience in medical and biopharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Injection Molding / Scientific Molding processes to bring parts into specifications (size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time).
• Ensure presses are started and running to standard process; troubleshoot issues not up to standards.
• Develop and maintain standard operator instructions, set-up sheets, and process sheets.
• Process a variety of engineering materials.
• Document improvements and problems with molds, presses, etc.
• Support safety, quality, production and delivery improvement plans.
