Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Relief Operator to support Injection Molding lines by relieving molders for breaks and assisting with labeling, packing, and case erection.

You will work under supervision, perform 5S audits, train new staff, monitor quality, and escalate machine issues to reduce downtime. Must have a High School diploma and basic math, and read English to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend English to follow work instructions.
• Basic mathematical skills for counting and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Relieve Molder Operators for breaks and lunches and cover absences.
• Assist with erecting finished product cases and applying labels.
• Perform 5S audits and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Provide training to new Relief Operator personnel as needed.
• Identify and report quality defects and help maintain proper labeling and packaging.
• Support setup and verification of weight scales and ensure safety and efficiency.
