Royer Corporation in Indiana is seeking a Process Technician to setup, monitor, and optimize plastic injection molding equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality production and strict adherence to safety standards.

You will troubleshoot molding process issues, inspect parts for cosmetic and dimensional quality, read setup sheets and work orders, and participate in preventive maintenance and lean initiatives to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating injection molding machines and tooling.
• Ability to read setup sheets and production orders.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and verify injection molding machines and process controls.
• Conduct first-shot inspections and confirm readiness for production.
• Inspect parts for cosmetic and dimensional defects.
• Troubleshoot molding and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Communicate process, quality, and production updates to operators, QA, and supervisors.
• Set up and operate secondary or downstream equipment as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on molding machines, molds, and support systems.
• Identify sources of scrap and waste; contribute to lean initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following GMP and OSHA standards.
