Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding environment.
  • Commitment to continued education through AIM Molding I and II (coursework and travel covered by US Conec)

Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures and protocols for press alarms, production priorities, and test runs.
  • Complete production test runs, summarize results, and update the MRP system.
  • Transfer and validate processes between machines, including setup sheet creation and documentation.
  • Collaborate with process, tooling, quality, maintenance, and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Document all process changes using standardized worksheets.
  • Set up and tune Sprue Pickers and Robots (Yushin models).
  • Maintain a clean and organized molding floor and work environment.

Job description

Injection Molding Process Technician (2nd Shift)

US Conec is seeking a hands‑on Injection Molding Process Technician to support manufacturing operations for high‑precision molded components. In this role, you’ll perform process transfers, test runs, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure consistent, high‑quality production. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain optimal molding conditions, support corrective actions, and uphold a clean, safe work environment. Relocation assistance is available for candidates willing to move within 20 miles of Fort Worth, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Follow procedures and protocols for press alarms, production priorities, and test runs
  • Complete production test runs, summarize results, and update the MRP system
  • Transfer and validate processes between machines, including setup sheet creation and documentation
  • Collaborate with process, tooling, quality, maintenance, and production teams to resolve issues
  • Document all process changes using standardized worksheets
  • Communicate effectively with peers, operations, and vendors through verbal and written channels
  • Start or stop molding machines based on priority schedules, including full shutdowns for mold changes
  • Support molding and quality teams on corrective actions and process adjustments
  • Ensure molds run within defined parameters and established processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized molding floor and work environment
  • Set up and improve part containment systems at molding machines
  • Assist with camera setup and installation as requested by Operations and Engineering
  • Set up and tune Sprue Pickers and Robots (Yushin models)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Must Haves
  • 2+ years of experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding environment
  • Commitment to continued education through AIM Molding I and II (coursework and travel covered by US Conec)
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with process documentation and setup sheet management
  • Familiarity with Yushin Sprue Pickers and robotic systems
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering, quality, and production teams
