Job summary

Clarios, LLC in Florence, Kentucky is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to optimize manufacturing operations, troubleshoot quality and performance issues, and drive continuous improvement on a high-volume line. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Toolroom, Automation, and Engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations.

The role focuses on process optimization, defect reduction, and data-driven improvements, with responsibilities

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in injection molding manufacturing environments.
Experience optimizing injection molding process parameters and supporting production start-ups.
Experience with root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
Experience conducting process audits, capability studies, and mold validation activities.

Responsibilities

Optimize and start up injection molding processes following mold changes and production requirements to achieve stable and repeatable production.
Troubleshoot molding defects, process variations, and quality issues to minimize downtime and improve product quality.
Lead scrap reduction initiatives through root cause analysis, 5 Why investigations, and corrective action implementation.
Analyze production, downtime, scrap, and quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with established process parameters, standards, and best practices.
Support process trials, mold validations, capability studies, and equipment performance evaluations to improve manufacturing efficiency and process capability.
