You will lead DOE, SPC, and root‑cause analysis, collaborate with Tool Room and Maintenance, and mentor teams to shift quality from inspection to process control while sustaining mold life and part performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Plastics/Mechanical/Manufacturing).
• 7–10 years of hands-on injection molding process engineering experience.
• Knowledge of PP and PC behavior in molding applications.
• Track record of data analysis and solving complex process issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate scientific process windows for PP, PC, and related resins.
• Set golden settings using melt temperature, shear, pack/hold pressure/time, cooling, and mold temperature control.
• Diagnose defects (flow hesitation, jetting, sinks, warp, blush, splay, burns, voids) and drive permanent resolution.
• Collaborate with Tool Room and Maintenance to enhance cooling circuits, venting, and gas evacuation.
• Lead mold trials, support tool changes, and verify capability to run within defined windows.
• Specify wear components and mold PM needs; ensure Cp/Cpk targets are owned and achieved.
• Implement SPC on critical process parameters and move quality control to process control.
