Job summary

The Hammitt Group, partnering with a well‑established plastics manufacturer in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, is hiring Injection Molding Operators. This is a hands‑on production role focused on safely operating molding presses, inspecting parts, and maintaining consistent quality.

Role requires standing for long periods, basic math, reading work instructions, and willingness to work overtime or off‑shifts as needed. Competitive hourly pay plus shift differentials. Direct hire, full‑time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating injection molding presses and monitoring machines.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and quality standards.
• Familiarity with ISO or IATF-certified environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding presses according to standard work instructions.
• Load/unload parts and monitor automated or semi-automated equipment.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of molded parts.
• Identify defects such as flash, short shots, sinks, or warpage.
• Record production counts, scrap, and downtime accurately.
• Package finished parts per customer and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervisors or process technicians promptly.
