Job Summary: Under the supervision of the department supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for moving product, raw material, and other things around the manufacturing floor in a safe manner. The Material Handler will be a part of all shipping and receiving processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive / unload all incoming material and inspect all material as required.
• Responsible for shipping / loading materials and keep accurate count of what was loaded.
• Supply production areas with needed materials required to insure efficient operations.
• Remove material away from work centers and place in finished goods. Input quantities in the information system and label product accordingly.
• Issue materials to jobs and return materials back into inventory as necessary.
• Responsible and accountable for inventory accuracy.
• Know and understand the production schedule and communicate with Supervisor on production requirements.
• Assist in Auditing components/finished goods inventory.
• Mixing of raw materials for production.
• Availability to work any / all overtime as necessary.
• Safety – Must maintain a clean and safe environment and perform all work duties within the guidelines of the company safety policy.
• Quality – Must comply with production quality processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Teamwork - Help others with their jobs and responsibilities whenever possible and perform cross-functional duties whenever necessary.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pass online Forklift Test
• 1 year experience in injection molding or related experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in noisy environments.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, unassisted.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all parts of the machine.
