Job description

SUMMARY: The Molding Machine Operator's primary responsibility is to ensure that the parts produced meet customers' requirements (See QC Standard). However, there may be times when the Molding Machine Operator will be required to perform other duties as requested by Management or his/her Supervisor. Reports functionally to his/her Molding Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure parts fall from mold/cycle the gate.
2. Perform secondary operations to meet customer requirements (See QC Standard).
3. Follow operator instruction sheet.
4. Bar code parts.
5. Pack parts (See packaging instruction).
6. Think safety first.
7. If non-conforming parts occur, contact supervisor immediately.
8. Sign Operator Instruction Verification Sign-Off Sheet.
9. Ensure that production requirements are met on a shift basis.
10. Maintain general housekeeping and organization of workstation.
11. Record and plot scrap.
12. Maintain production boards on an hourly basis.
13. Complete any and all tasks or assignments as requested by Management or Supervisor.
14. Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.

Follows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures. Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.
