Job summary

ECOPLASTIC AMERICA CORP is seeking an Injection Molding Engineer in Register, GA to support and improve injection molding processes, ensure product quality, and maintain equipment stability. The role involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

You will work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other teams to drive efficiency, implement corrective actions, and support new mold launches and process changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Plastics/ Polymer/ Materials/ Industrial/ Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Experience in injection molding or plastics/automoive manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, molds, materials and parameters.
• Familiarity with MES or similar manufacturing systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Automotive Tier-1 or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual Korean/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize injection molding processes, parameters, and production conditions.
• Prepare and maintain injection molding condition sheets and standardized work documents.
• Analyze production issues, defects, downtime, and process abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor daily production performance through MES, including output, defects, downtime, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues related to injection molding machines, molds, materials, and processes.
• Support machine start-up, shutdown, mold changes, and process adjustments.
• Conduct regular inspections of injection molding equipment and production lines.
• Support new product launches, mold trials, and process improvement activities.
• Provide technical training and guidance to production personnel.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Support inventory and purchasing activities for injection molding and mold-related materials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with established quality, safety, and production standards.
