QFocus Technologies is seeking an Injection Molding (Automation) Technician to join our Staunton, VA onsite team. You will collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and quality of medical device components.

Design and optimize robust processes for injection molding and plastics-based manufacturing, while overseeing validation activities and driving continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and injection molding processes.
• Automation experience a plus; Master Molder/RJG certificates are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of molding processes, tooling, and materials.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

This Staunton, VA onsite position is ideal for an individual with expertise in scientific molding and injection molding process development who thrives on delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

- Collaboration: Partner with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and scalability of new and existing products ensuring seamless transitions from design to production.

- Develop Manufacturing Processes: Design and optimize robust, repeatable, and scalable processes for injection molding and plastics-based manufacturing.

- Process Validation: Oversee process validation activities ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing processes.

- Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve production issues related to injection molding and automation.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, scientific/injection molding processes and development. Automation experience a plus. Master Molder/RJG certificates are a plus.

- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, and materials; experience with mold design and troubleshooting is a plus.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex manufacturing challenges.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.

- Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and budgets.
