Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a Toolmaker/Mold Maker for 1st Shift in Slatersville, RI. The role involves designing, fabricating, repairing, and maintaining injection molds, fixtures, tooling, and machine components.

Qualifications

Formal apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on training.
Strong understanding of mold construction, repair, and maintenance.
Experience operating manual and CNC machining equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proven experience working to precise tolerances.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices.
Experience with injection molding tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, fabricate, modify, and repair tooling, fixtures, molds, and machine components.
Analyze mold and tooling issues and perform repairs to maintain production.
Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, EDM, and CNC machinery.
Read blueprints and specifications to manufacture components.
Use precision measuring tools to ensure tight tolerances.
Perform preventative maintenance and repair of injection molds.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Support continuous improvement in tooling and mold performance.
