Job summary

IntePros seeks an Injection Mold Tooling Engineer in Tempe, AZ to support medical device manufacturing. You will design, validate, and transfer injection molds and automation tooling, ensuring efficient production and high quality.

Responsibilities include supporting mold start-up, collaboration with QA/Engineering/Production, and maintaining tooling documentation while pursuing continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in injection molding tooling and assembly.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling.
• Familiarity with GD&T and drawing control.

Responsibilities

• Assist with injection mold tooling validation and startup.
• Provide technical expertise on mold design to QA/Engineering/Production.
• Support installation of new molds and automated systems.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to meet goals.
• Support a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Maintain mold drawings and documentation in MasterControl.
• Track tooling inventory and vendor progress.
• Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings.
• Assist with NPI design feedback and issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
