Job summary

Encompass Care LLC is seeking a Respite Youth Care Worker to provide essential care and support to youth in need. You will supervise, nurture, and engage youth in activities that promote emotional, social, and physical well-being.

Role requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required; CPR/First Aid and Mandated Reporter Training are expected or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with youth in a care or support setting is a strong asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the youth and the program.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire and Mandated Reporters Training
• Background check clearance as per organizational and state requirements.
