NEXTGEN TECHNOLOGY INC seeks a graduate Test Engineer to join our team, supporting the test engineering group in day-to-day tasks. We provide automated and manual testing services for wireless connectivity solutions, including Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi, with a focus on customer projects.

The role involves learning IOTA and ATAMConnect, performing bench and vehicle testing, and presenting results to stakeholders. Travel across the US is required as part of customer engagements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Ideally some experience of testing, preferably in a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate well as part of a team.
• Ability to interface professionally with customers.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsabilités

• Quickly and accurately perform vehicle and bench based manual and automated testing for a variety of customer projects.
• Precisely and accurately report test results using our in-house tool IOTA plus a variety of bespoke customer reports in Excel, Word etc.
• Learn to proficiently use ticketing systems such as JIRA for bug reporting.
• Interface professionally with test engineering colleagues in Troy, MI, India, UK, China and Korea.
• Assist with local customer visits and demonstrations.
• Learn and become expert in using Nextgen’s automation tool, ATAMConnect.
• In addition, the job will require travel to customers and facilities within the US.
