Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Seattle, WA is seeking an RN Vascular Access Nurse for a full-time, Mon-Fri role in the Capitol Hill area. The position administers non-chemotherapy infusions and strongly prefers vascular access experience with VA-BC certification or equivalent.

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care following KFHPW standards, coordinate services, and work with the health care team to implement individualized care plans while ensuring quality and safety for each patient.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Washington RN license required at hire or Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Using the nursing process, assess nursing care needs and plan individualized care.
• Coordinate and facilitate health care services with the health care team.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care for the patient and ensure effective care planning.
• Assess patient status, educate patients and families, and support adherence to care plans.
• Promote safe environments and adhere to infection control standards.
