Job summary

InfuCare Rx is seeking an Infusion Suite Nurse for 2 days per week in Jersey City, NJ. You will perform IV therapy, monitor patients, and collaborate with a skilled team to provide in-suite and home infusion care.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with 3+ years of clinical experience (preferably home care), CPR certification, and eligibility to work in the US. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and comply with regulatory standards is required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• At least 3 years’ RN experience, ideally with home care and strong IV skills.
• BSN or ASN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Pass annual competency checks.
• Clean background and criminal record; must pass drug test.

Responsibilities

• Observe, interpret and monitor patient’s condition; notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet positive patient outcomes.
• Communicate with patients; listen to concerns and relay to the nursing team.
• Perform IV therapy.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with laws.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Rapid expansion has created an opportunity for an IVIG Infusion Registered Nurse.

Primary Responsibilities as an Infusion Suite Nurse:

• Attention to detail. Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret and monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, acting as the patient’s advocate.
• Interpersonal Skills: Working collaboratively with an exceptional team to help meet positive client care outcomes.
• Communication: Discuss health care with patients, listen to their concerns and relay to the nursing team.
• IV therapy
• Compliance: Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• At least 3 years’ experience as an RN, ideally with some home care experience and must possess exceptional IV skills.
• A Bachelor of Science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program.
• Current CPR.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Successfully pass annual competency checks.
• Clean background and criminal record and must pass drug test.

Physical Demands:

Required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.
