Job summary

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse to work every other weekend at the clinic in Morton Grove, IL. Ideal candidate will have excellent IV skills; PICC certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with IL license and nursing degree.
• Infusion experience preferred; chemo experience optional.

Responsibilities

• Access peripheral lines and teach self-administration of meds.
• Review labs and communicate results to physicians/patients.
• E-prescribe and manage refills per orders.
• Greet patients, schedule visits, and respond to calls.
• Document all required fields in EMR for meaningful use.
• Administer immunizations and blood draws per guidelines.
• Maintain records and billing documents in EHR.
• Coordinate with physicians for procedures and tests.
