Job summary

Clearview Cancer Institute in north Alabama is seeking an Infusion RN to assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. The Infusion RN will also administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, as well as advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Qualifications

Must have an Associate’s degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
Alabama RN license required.
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer IV chemotherapy to patients.
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’ responses and conditions.
Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
