Job summary

The Neuron Clinic in Chula Vista, CA is seeking an Infusion Therapy RN to deliver outpatient infusion treatments. You will work with neurologists and a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate care and build trusting relationships with patients and families.

You will assess and monitor patients, administer therapies, educate on treatment and side effects, document accurately, and maintain a welcoming clinic environment, while upholding safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in California.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed infusion therapies per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Assess patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Monitor for side effects or changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the clinical team.
• Educate patients regarding treatments and potential side effects.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the medical record.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming infusion environment.
• Assist with medication preparation, inventory, and related tasks.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and provide compassionate support.
