Job summary

Pure Infusion in Colorado Springs is seeking an RN Infusion Nurse to support two clinics on an as-needed basis. You will provide direct patient care for IV biologics and other infusible therapies, educate patients, and travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience.
• Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills.
• Clear communication and collaboration to optimize patient care.
• Willingness to travel to other locations occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectables as ordered, as well as education.
• Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies.
• Access PIV & Ports
• Medication preparation and administration
• Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion
• Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care
• Adheres to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties
