Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Dallas Sammons location. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The RN will provide professional nursing care in the infusion department under standard guidelines. The candidate will coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, administer therapies, and ensure documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in practicing state; current registration.
• Current BLS certification; continuing education required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching materials.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision.
• Administer medications and blood products with correct dose, route, and timing.
• Obtain pre-authorization and consent forms for therapies as applicable.
• Facilitate dose modifications by reviewing labs and protocols with physician.
• Perform venipuncture and manage ports/central lines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatments.
• Understand reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
