Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a PRN Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) at West Hospital to deliver compassionate oncology-focused care. You will assess patient status, plan and implement treatments, and foster a safe, therapeutic environment across the lifespan.

Requires RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree, and oncology certification within 6 months of hire. BLS or ACLS as applicable, with EPIC EHR proficiency preferred. Eligible for benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
Current state RN licensure.
BLS preferred; ACLS acceptable prior to direct patient care.
ONS Oncology Nursing Certification required within 6 months of hire.
One year of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred.
EPIC EHR training preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients and develop plans of care; implement treatments and evaluate outcomes.
Restore, support, and rehabilitate to maintain patient stability across ages.
Administer chemotherapy, start IVs, transfuse blood and perform phlebotomies.
Anticipate changes in patient conditions and respond confidently.
Support educational growth opportunities for nursing peers.
Other duties as assigned.
