Job summary

Palmetto Infusion is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinician to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy in Montgomery, AL. Schedule: PRN; Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed. Service areas include Montgomery, AL with potential float to other clinics.

Responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, administering IV medications, educating patients, and ensuring HIPAA compliance while maintaining high-quality nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state(s) of practice.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.
• BLS or obtain upon hire.
• Proficient at partner programs (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
• Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.
• Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner.
• Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers.
• Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations.
• Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses.
• Travel to outlying clinics as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.
• Accurately perform all nursing duties according to the state nurse practice act while adhering to company policies and procedures.
