Job summary

Intrafusion by McKesson in Kansas is seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse to provide clinical care in an outpatient neurology infusion suite. The position is full-time, four 8-hour shifts totaling 32 hours weekly, with starts between 8:00 and 9:00 am Monday through Thursday and an optional Friday morning shift if needed.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, administer therapies under physician direction, maintain a safe, organized infusion area, and stay current with infusion

Qualifications

• RN state license and current registration in practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Continuing educationRequirements must be maintained.
• 5–7 years nursing experience with infusion therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care per established standards.
• Prepares and administers therapies under the direction of a physician.
• Maintains a neat and orderly infusion suite.

Overview

A unique and rewarding experience for an Infusion Registered Nurse who is highly motivated to provide technical and clinical expertise in patient care. This position supports a neurology outpatient-based infusion suite in Roeland Park, KS.

Job Summary

• Full-time, 4x8s totaling 32 hours per week
• Monday through Thursday, starting between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Optional Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, if needed

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Supports and adheres to the Intrafusion by McKesson Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Standards.

Education and Training

Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross healthcare provider hands on course).

Must maintain continuing education requirements.

Experience

Minimum 5-7 years nursing experience required, one year or more of infusion therapy experience preferred.
