Job summary

Infusion for Health in Tacoma is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide infusion therapies in private rooms, educate patients, and monitor responses to treatments in a high-acuity setting.

Strong EMR skills, communications, and teamwork are essential. Candidates should have an ADN (BSN preferred), an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS; infusion experience is a plus, with training offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical RN experience in ICU, ER, or similar high-acuity settings.
• Infusion experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS or ACLS/PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to private infusion rooms.
• Educate patients about treatments and address concerns about adverse reactions.
• Administer prescribed medications and establish IV access, including central lines.
• Monitor and document patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergencies calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.

• Maintain the flow of patient care and manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• Keep infusion rooms clean and well-stocked.
• Answer phone calls as needed, adhering to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
